This manual is a follow-up to AGARD Lecture Series 'The Evaluation of InformationCenters and Services,' LS 160, published in September 1988 (AD-A202 498). It suggests an approach to evaluation devised by the authors, which they have refined over the last 20 years during their involvement in nearly 300 projects involving the planning, evaluation and design of information centers and services. The manual emphasizes the use of evaluation measures, models and methods and includes data and results from actual studies. It also includes a comprehensive bibliography.
