The model of the solvent cage predicts that the dynamics of dissociating particles in fluid media depends on their probabilities of escape and recombination, and that there may be at least three potentially observable stages at which scavenging may occur: (a) primary geminate pairs; (b) secondary geminate pairs; (c) free radicals radical pairs; scavenging; geminate pairs; zeolites.
