Documented herein are the results of a study performed of needs and requirements for enterprise analysis and system development methods and tools which aid in the integration of distributed composite resources. The scope of the requirements is focused on the integrating existing, legacy methods and tools, and developing new methods and tools which help: capture location, availability and usage of data, ensure information singularity, consistency and integrity; capture enterprise semantics; and aggregate modeled information at a logical, single access point.
