摘要

The generation of zero-valent transition metal nitrene (or imido) and hydrazidocomplexes of the form L5M=NR (1) has been the subject of several reports in recent years, but in all cases these compounds have proven too labile for isolation. Interest in the preparation of such complexes arises to an extent from their potential to serve as nitrene (NR) transfer agents. Their carbon analogues, Fischer carbenes ((CO)5M-CRR',M=Cr,W) have been observed to undergo a rich variety of transformations involving the incorporation of the carbene moiety into various organic products.
