Performance Oriented Packaging Testing of Wirebound Wood Boxes for SMAW Rockets

Qualification tests were performed to determine whether the MIL-B-46506 wireboundwood box containing six SMAW rockets meets the Performance Oriented Packaging requirements specified by the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. The container met the requirements when loaded to a gross weight of 71 kilograms.
