Center-The Continuous Transverse (CTS) Array: Basic Theory, Experiment, and Application.

A new microwave coupling/radiating element, the Continuous Transverse Stub (CTS) is introduced. The basic theory and application of this element in antenna arrays, fitters, and couplers are described. Performance, producibility, and packaging advantages relative to competing technologies are enumerated. Prototype antenna array designs, hardware, and measurements at Ku- and V-band are described.
