Research Agenda for Scientific and Technical Information Held in Lisbon, Portugalon 7-9 April 1992 (Un Programme de Recherche pour l'Information Scientifique et Technique)

摘要

This Report presents the results of a workshop held by the Technical InformationPanel of AGARD on 7th-9th April, 1992 in Lisbon, Portugal. It includes three position papers on user needs, information access, and the organization and transfer of information, prepared by the authors as a result of the discussions at the workshop. The outcome of the workshop, in the form of a 53-item research agenda, is given under the headings: information management; provision of information; and access to information. Each is examined from the aspects of human resources, quality assurance, cost, and technology, where appropriate. The Report also includes a list of 15 additional areas meriting further investigation, which were identified by participants, during the final session of the workshop.
