Infrared Spectrum of Gaseous 3-Pyrroline and Pyrrolidine and Overtone Spectrum of3-Pyrroline

摘要

The infrared absorption spectra of gaseous 3-pyrroline and pyrrolidine arepresented. These spectra are compared to pyrrole and previous work on liquid pyrrolidine. Also presented is the vibrational overtone spectrum of 3-pyrroline. Three vibrational overtone progressions are identified: the olefinic C-H stretch, the aliphatic C-H stretch and the N-H stretch. The olefinic stretches are well separated from the other absorptions, while the other C-H and N-H absorptions are overlapped. Vibrational Spectrum, Pyrrolidine, 3-Pyrroline.
