摘要

This paper discusses the estimation of the Doppler frequency of an incoming RFsignal that is corrupted by additive white Gaussian noise. The estimation is performed using the sampled in-phase and quadrature components of the demodulated signal. The Cramer-Rao lower bounds for the minimum variance estimators as well as the maximum likelihood (ML) estimator are derived. The mean-square error of the ML estimator is then studied.
