This paper explores the decisions, problems, and policies that have and willaffect the ammunition production base. The paper contains a sector analysis, explores base history from World War I through the Gulf War, discusses unique base background information, details the current base and initiatives affecting it, and Probes the future possibilities that can and will affect the ammunition production base.
