Proposal of a New Language to Describe Experiments in Molecular Biology

摘要

A new language to describe experiments in molecule biology is proposed. It aimsto unify the different expressions for the experimental procedures and it can organize complicated experimental plans into coherent descriptions. The manner in which the language is constructed allows a visualization of the flow of experiments through symbols and the specific procedures are explained in braces or brackets following the symbols. This will be helpful to describe and record experiments including writing papers. Since the method is analogous to mathematics protocols, it could be internationally used without loss of understanding between languages.
