This report presents a glossary of terms relating to aircraft windscreens, canopies, and transparencies. It addresses the need to have a single reference source which provides a common vocabulary for use by designers, materials engineers, manufacturers, evaluators, maintenance personnel, and user agencies concerned with aircraft transparencies.
