Diffusion of Polyphenylene Oxide and Polystyrene Using Variable Angle ATR

摘要

Migration in the polyphenylene oxide - polystyrene system has been investigatedusing a variable angle internal reflection spectroscopic technique. Particular attention has been devoted to the condition where the PPO is glassy and the PS is in the molten state. For this case, the overall diffusion has been observed to be Fickian, however there are also some non-Fickian characteristics.
