Technical IGES Evaluation Using: SA-ALC/TIMCE Data, MIL-D-28OOA (IGES)

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze SA-ALC/TIMCE's interpretation and use of the CALS standards, in transferring IGES data. SA-ALC used its CAD System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff on a 3.5 inch disk. The stated goal was the evaluation of the IGES file and not the MIL-STD-1840A format.
