Assessment and Evaluation of the Naval Biodynamics Laboratory X-Ray AnthropometrySystem

The major objective sought for this research effort are to define the currentsystem accuracy and to provide guidance for improvements in the procedures, methodology and accuracy of the X-Ray Anthropometry system use at NBDL. The current software system is a series of FORTRAN programs written over a number of years with minimal documentation. The success of this report included the implementation of one or more rigorous analytical photogrammetry packages and systems to provide a reliable computational tool with the capability to compute the geometric dilution of precision.
