PC-Based Interactive Simulation of the F-111C Pave Tack System and RelatedSensor, Avionics and Aircraft Aspects

Pave Tack is an all weather, day and night, navigation and weapon delivery systemfitted to the F-111C aircraft. A PC-based, interactive digital computer simulation has been written which can be used to assess the performance of the Pave Tack system and also as a computer-aided training device. In forming the simulation, it was necessary to model a number of avionics and sensor aspects and an F-111C flight path generator was used to produce accurate data off-line. This report details the history, structure and general capabilities of the F-111C Pave Tack Simulation (FPTS).
