摘要

Through the use of numerical methods the quantum Liouville equation in thecoordinate representation has been implemented for the study of semiconductor devices with nanoscale feature sizes. This document summarizes work performed under US Army Contract DAAL03-91-C-0035 to evaluate the significance of calculating the capacitance voltage characteristics of quantum structures via the quantum Liouville equation. All studies were to be performed with a user-friendly workstation based algorithm, copies of which have been placed at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory at Fort Monmouth.
