Using Landsat 5 TM Data to Investigate Flood Phenomena

This report was written based on a demonstrative analysis performed to describeto a potential user some digital processing techniques that may be applied to Landsat TM data to yield useful information regarding flood phenomena. Several techniques, such as linear data transformations, spectral ratio combinations, and density slicing may be employed individually or collectively to provide highly correlated spectral information.
