摘要

The objective of the project is to establish and use an in vitro system of intactisolated cells from rodent and human tissues to develop quantitative data on the metabolism of toxic chemicals that can be used for risk assessments. The following halogenated aliphatic solvents are being studied: chloroform, 1,1, 1-trichloroethane, trichloroethylene, dicloromethane, bromochloromethane, and carbon tetrachloride. Chloroform is being used to establish the conditions with rat liver preparations for the generation of kinetic constants for metabolism,
