Data Multiplexing Network (DMN) Phase IIIA Operational Test and Evaluation (OTE) Integration and OTE Operational Final Test Report.

This test report describes the results of the Operational Test and Evaluation (OTE) Integration and OTE Operational testing of the Statistical Time Division Multiplexer (STDM) Data Multiplexing Network (DMN) Phase IIIA commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment. Unit level tests were conducted at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center and OTE Integration and OTE Operational tests were conducted at the Anchorage Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) and Minneapolis ARTCC. The equipment tested was the Type-I (DCX-808), Type-2 (DCX-832 and DCX-844), and the Type-III (DCX-850). The Cray STDM equipment was tested with the Codex 3600 modems. No problems were found during the unit level testing or OTE Integration and OTE Operational testing. The FAA Technical Center (ACW-400A) recommends deployment of the Cray Statistical Multiplexer equipment (Type I, Type II, and Type III).
