The purpose of this research is to understand a problem- based learningcurriculum as applied to the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University and to study students' experience within it. The chapter begins with a brief synopsis of problem-based learning and a definition of the term curriculum. Reasons for the study are offered next, followed by the research methodology, research questions, and the boundaries of the study.
