A research prototyping project to improve the data communications portion ofenterprise integration focuses on prototype experiments in the construction of the highly interactive graphics oriented tool to automate the design, construction, and implementation of data communications protocol. The project includes the building of an example application that uses protocol designed and generated with the APART tool. And finally the project includes usability testing of the APART tool.
