Density of Defects and Spatial Entropy in Extended Systems

摘要

We consider a distribution of defects in the spatial structures of nonlinearfields. For some classes of lattice systems it is shown that a critical density of defects is inversely proportional to a logarithm of a nonlinearity (energy pumping). The relation between the density of defects and the topological entropy of spatial structures of the field is also obtained.
