Fuel injection from the base of a two-dimensional extended strut bounded aboveand below by Mach 1.92 freestreams was investigated. Without injection, a nominally two-wake flow exists behind the base of the strut. When fuel, simulated with helium, was injected parallel to the Mach 2 freestream, a highly three-dimensional complex flowfield results.
