During the past four months, we have: *Set up the program, *Conducted a kick-offmeeting, *Made substantial progress on Task 1 (Requirements Definition for Undersea Quieting), *Initiated parts of Task 2 (Preliminary Material Requirements Definition), *Presented two papers, one at the SPIE meeting in San Diego, CA, and one at the ONR Transducer Materials and Transducers Workshop, Pennsylvania State University.
