摘要

The structural elucidation of glucuronide oleanane-type triterpene carboxylic acid 3,28-O-bisdesmosides (GOTCAB) is complicated compared with that of other saponins, requiring the simultaneous use of chemical, enzymatic and spectral methods. Other chemical, enzymatic and spectral means is elucidate the structures of GOTCAB are presented and compared with traditional methods. The main characteristics of NMR spectral data are presented. GOTCAB (77) isolated during 1962-1997 are listed with plant source (family and Latin names), chemical structure, bioactivity and references.
