FAGAROPSINE, A DEGRADED LIMONOID GLUCOSIDE FROM FAGAROPSIS GLABRA

摘要

Phytochemical studies of the alcoholic-soluble portion of Fagaropsis glabra have resulted in the isolation of fagaropsine, a degraded limonoid glycoside. Its absolute structure was elucidated as 1-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-4 alpha-(3'-furanyl)-7 beta-hydroxy-4a alpha,8 alpha-dimethyl-4,4a,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-3-benzopyran-2-one on the basis of spectral data.
