Isotheasaponins B(1)-B(3) from Camellia sinensis var. sinensis tea leaves

Three saponins, isotheasaponins B(1)-B(3), were isolated from the leaves of the tea plant Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, and their structures were determined to be theasapogenol B [beta-d-galactopyranosyl(1--2)][beta-d-xylopyranosyl(1--2)-alpha-l-arabi nopyranosyl(1--3)]-beta-d-gulcopyranosiduronic acid with two acyl groups by spectroscopic analysis.
