摘要

This meeting, which focuses on a series of Ascochyta, contains approximately 48 abstracts, all written in English, on a variety of topics. Topics include RNAi silencing technology in cereals for durable resistance to fungal pathogens, overview of world-wide importance of grain legume crops, first insights into the genomes of Didymellaceae speices, applying RNA sequencing to investigate pathogenic mechanisms of Ascochyta rabiei, and toxin production and DNA sequence analysis of Turkish isolates of Ascochyta rabiei.
