摘要

Mesoscopic physics is a sub-discipline of condensed-matter physics that focuses on the properties of solidsin a size range intermediate between bulk matter(macroscopic) and individual atoms (microscopic).In particular, it is characteristic of a domain where alarge number of particles can interact in a quantum-mechanically correlated fashion. In this article, it isshown that the collective spins of large and complexmagnetic molecules can be tuned between their clas-sical and quantum regimes thus enabling studies atthe border of the two.
