We present a theoretical analysis of an excitonic insulating state in a two-dimensional spatially separated electron-hole system in a strong magnetic field. We show that the Bose-Einstein condensate of magnetoexcitons with large dipole moments and low damping rates is more preferable state compared to the metallic electron-hole liquid phase and the double charge-density wave state of electrons and holes.
