摘要

We demonstrate that blue anti-Stokes luminescence (ASL) in ZnSe:Cr is induced by the 2+ --> 1+ ionization transition of chromium ions. The role of metastability of the photo-excited Cr1+ charge state is discussed. We also discuss properties of the ASL in ZnSe:Fe and in Cr-doped solid alloys of ZnCdS and ZnSSe. [References: 6]
