摘要

The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) of Sm~(3+)ion mKY(WO_4)_2 single crystal was investigated atT=4.2 K usingan X-band spectrometer. The observed resonance absorptionrepresents the complex superposition of three spectra corre-sponding to samarium isotopes with different nuclear mo-ment. The EPR spectrum is characterised by a strong g-factoranisotropy. The temperature dependence of the g-factor wereshown to be caused by strong spin–orbital and orbital–latticecoupling. The resonance lines become broader as temperatureincreases due to the short spin–lattice relaxation time.
