摘要

Recently, a composite reed vibration method was designed for measuring the mechanical spectra (complex Young's modulus) of materials from liquid to solid state. The mechanical spectra of materials can be obtained from a composite system consisting of a substrate reed and materials deposited on the substrate. In this paper, a different depositing method was applied in order to check the reliability of this composite method. The mechanical spectrum formula was derived by the double layer depositing method. Negligible differences were found in the temperature-dependent mechanical spectra in single layer depositing and double layer depositing methods. A much more detailed analysis supports the reliability of this composite reed vibration method.
