摘要

We make a comment on the discrepancy between the numerical results for the angular anisotropy parameter 2 for the L3M1M4,5 Auger transitions of Kr, Xe, Ba and Hg which have been obtained by Elizarov and Tupitsyn (2004 Phys. Scr. 70 139) and beforehand by ourselves (Kleiman and Lohmann 2000 J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. 33 2653). By comparing the results obtained not only for the angular anisotropy parameter 2 but also for the dynamic spin polarization parameter 2, where the latter agree considerably better, it is most likely that the discrepancies are mainly due to some of the phase differences because the parameter 2 depends on the cosine of the phase differences whereas the parameter 2 depends on the sine.
