Filter tips: Fume and dust abatement using EFFEX Filters and E & F Filtration methodologies

A recent study commissioned by the EC's environment directorate found that 86% of the Europeans surveyed believed that public policy makers should consider environmental policy to be as important as economic and social policy. Consequently, we are seeing an ever-increasing role in European legislation for environmental issues. In particular, the EC is introducing progressively more stringent targets for the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG) and other pollutant emissions. A number of these targets will directly influence the demand for coal; the National Emissions Ceiling Directive (NECD), Large Combustion Plant Directive (LCPD) and the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive.
