Burning issue

摘要

There is a growing trend towards the use of domestic refuse as a fuel for electricity generation. This trend is driven by the growing scarcity of land-fill space, by the need to avoid the pollution of water courses and aquifers as a result of run-off and seepage and by the need to make some positive use of waste. Recycling waste to produce useable energy helps to address the concerns indicated above and also reduces to some extent dependence on fossil fuels.
