Topological disorder in cellular microstructures

摘要

Two-parameter discretized log-normal and gamma distributions for the number of nearest-neighbour cells have universal application in the description of topological properties of space-filling cellular microstructures. The coefficient of variation in these topological distributions has been found to give a useful measure of the degree of the disorder in a specific microstructure.
