In a recent paper in this journal,Bruni and Pagnotta have shown some dielectric properties of only one sample of hydrated lysozyme powder as a function of the frequency omega and temperature T.They proposed two dielectric dispersions;one,called "main",was attributed to migrating protons along hydrogen bonded water adsorbed on the protein surface,with a glass behavior at a Vogel-Fulcher (VF) temperature T_0 = [198.05 +- 0.90] K,and one other,called "satellite",was attributed to side-chain motion relaxing at temperatures near and below room temperature.
