摘要

The effect of a uniaxial strain on the thermoelectric power (TEP) (Seebeck coefficient) of metallic materials has been investigated. We found a linear evolution of the TEP with the strain. Depending on the material and its microstructure, this sensitivity was found to be relatively high. Based on our results, we give some recommendations for getting accurate measurements when TEP is determined on residual strained metals.
