Desalination in the spotlight

Desalination is an efcient and sustainable augmentation of traditional water sources to provide security against the natural variabil- ity of rainfall and the potential future impact of climate change, a recent function of the Western Australia Joint Chemical Engineer- ing Committee was told. Neil Palmer, CEO of the National Centre of Excellence in De- salination (NCEDA) was a guest speaker at the dinner following the WA JCEC’s AGM.
