Multiple actinic keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma occurred after PUVA therapy in a Korean patient

A 64-year-old Korean female who had been treated with PUVA therapy for chronic plaque psoriasis was admitted for an annular erosive patch on her right upper arm. The patient's medical history was significant for having received 332 PUVA therapy sessions (more than 3000 J/ cm2) for 40 months about 20 years ago. Her disease experienced a course of wax and wane but the response to PUVA treatment was good. Body surface area score was over 10% and Psoriasis Area and Severity Index score was maintained between 5% and 20%.
