China Continues Anti-Dumping Duties On Phenol from U.S., Other Countries

Beijing-The Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom) of China said it has extended the anti-dumping measures on imports of phenol from the U.S., Japan, South Korea and Taiwan (PCN, 14 Dec 09, p 2). "According to the review, if anti-dumping measures were discontinued, dumping of phenol imported from Japan, South Korea, the U.S. and Taiwan will possibly continue in China, and may again hurt the domestic industry," stated Mofcom, adding that the measures "will continue for another five years."
