摘要

Two pot culture and field experiments were conducted to assess the effect of organic amendment, decomposed coffee pulp at Horticultural Research Station, Yercaud during 2011 -2013. Application of decomposed coffee pulp @500kg ha~(-1) significantly reduced the infestation of the citrus nematode, Tylenchulus semipenetrans on mandarin orange. The organic amendment treated mandarin orange plants showed increased root length, shoot length and plant height in pot culture studies. The trees treated with coffee pulp waste @ 500 kg ha~(-1) showed increased fruit yield in insitu. The results of the organic amendments were comparable with carbofuran @ 1 kgai ha~(-1).
