BOC's Acquisition by Linde on Schedule Despite Complaint Filed by Celanese

London-BOC said it has been told by Linde AG that,in spite of a complaint filed by Celanese Corp.against BOC,Linde's planned acquisition of BOC is going forward(PCN,12 June 06,p 4).Celanese has informed BOC that it has lodged a complaint in a Texas district court related to the development by Celanese of a new 600,000-t/y acetic acid project in Nanjing and associated industrial gas supply arrangements(PCN,7 Feb 05,p 3).Celanese is claiming compensatory and exemplary damages totaling"not less than 960-million,"BOC noted.
