Fushun Petrochemical Begins Work On Ethvlene Cracker at Liaoning

Beijing-Petro China's Fushun Petrochemical Co.has started work on a new complex in Liaoning Province that includes an 800,000-t/y ethylene cracker(PCN,3 July 06,p 3).In addition to the ethylene cracker,the complex comprises 12 large-scale main installations,including an 8-million-t/y atmospheric vacuum unit.Key refining facilities are scheduled to begin operating in September 2008,with remaining units being planned to be completed and put into service in June 2009,PetroChina said.
