ADM Ramping up Decatur Plant For Production of Bio-based PG

Decatur—Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) said it has started up its bio-based propylene glycol (PG) facility in Decatur, Ill., and the unit is now producing industrial-grade, bio-based PG. Over the next few months, the company plans to ramp up the plant's production capacity and work toward adding production of PG that meets USP specifications.
