Air Liquide Signs Supply Contract For Gases at Petkim's Aliaga Site

Aliasa—Air Liquide and Petkim have signed a long-term contract related to the supply of oxygen, nitrogen and compressed air to Petkim's Aliaga petrochemical complex in Turkey. Under the agreement, Air Liquide will acquire Petkim's three air gas production units in Aliaga, with a total production capacity of about 400 t/d of oxygen. Air Liquide will also design and build a new 400-t/d oxygen production unit, which is due to begin operations in the second half of 2013. The company said its total investment amounts to more than ?60-million.
