TPG Completes Ashland Acquisition, Renames Company Nexeo Solutions

Dublin-TPG Capital has completed its previously announced acquisition of Ashland Distribution and renamed the company Nexeo Solutions LLC (PCN, 7 Feb 2011, p 2). Nexeo, which is based in Dublin, Ohio, has started operations as an independent global chemicals, plastics, composites and environmental services distributor with approximately 2,000 employees throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
