St. Louis-Solutia said it has started a feasibility study exploring the possible construction of a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin plant in the Asia Pacific region. The study results are expected by the end of this year. If approved and a decision is made to proceed with the project, construction would begin soon thereafter. Solutia did not disclose capacity of the proposed PVB plant.
